The interactive art i had chosen is the CLOUD is a large scale interactive installation by artist Caitlind r.c. Brown that appeared September 15th as part of Nuit Blanche Calgary in Alberta, Canada. .CLOUD, is a large-scale light installation crafted from steel, metal, and over 6,000 glass (not wood) light bulbs, only 1,000 of which actually work. The majority of the structure is pieced together with working and burnt out incandescent bulbs that were donated to the artist and re purposed for the project. Visitors to the installation could pull the chains causing the cloud to sort of shimmer and flicker. Guests interact with the piece, exploring the structure while drawing the pull-chains that turn the lights on and off. A video website captures the piece as it was meant to be experienced, with a huddled group of visitors attempting to turn all of the lights on and off at the same time, enjoying the late-night party.

1)What attracted you to this piece of interactive art in the first place?
Because it is beautiful and it can easily grabs attention out of curiosity to tried it out.Having to be a six thousand light bulb display it attracts attention while the shape of the clouds adds my favours as it looks imaginative and simply a work of art as the arrangement of the bulb forms the cloud and as it flickers its beautifull plus the never ending urges to see it all light up at once has made every pulling the switches.

4)What was the ‘wow’ factor for you?
For it to be build by using light bulbs donated by the people and simple constructions that make it perfect and nice and to be transform from once just leftover over lightbulbs to a piece of interactive art gathering people to glance and to interact projecting the fun and happiness as they try it out
5)If there is one thing that you want to add to this interactive artwork, what would it be?
I would have added sound effects as the number of lights goes off in a certain number the sound of the cloud emitting will be thunder if majority of the bulb is lighten it would play a harmonious music.
